About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be a global citizen: rich in friendship and travel experience.
Seeing others travel freely and I can't stop thinking about it. For now, I can do short trips over the weekends and would love to have a travel partner or someone who enjoys explore the US and nearby countries. US. Open-minded and flexibility is a must.
ABOUT ME
When one is young, he has all the time in the world to travel but with limited resources. When one is old, he has enough resources but with limited time. I want to travel as many places as I possibly can and couch surfing site and its wonderful members can help me to achieve my goals.
I'm an independent man. If you're hosting and working, No worry, I can entertain myself. Otherwise I'm up for any adventurous plans.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, Learn and Laugh
Flexible like a Palm tree
Think good of others allow one to see half full glass
Assume does make an Ass out of You and Me
I am thankful for every person that walks through my life
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCH SURFING
To become a globalized citizen. Our world has been a diverse and large community. I want to enhance cultural sensitivity and tolerance.
COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was positively interesting . I ended up surfing three places in one holiday. It couldn't get any better. Over the years, I have learned that when I live in someone's home, I will try my best to offer my host something as a token of appreciation because they are willing to take care of me. I have been maximizing my CS experience by spending as much time as I can with my hosts. It is an invaluable journey that I do not take it "freely" for granted.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lived in Asia. I am the first and only person in my family to graduate from college and pack my back to see the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Weather in Montreal late april is freezing compared to nyc where you can put a shorts on.
International traveling by air in most countries in south east Asia only allow one 20kg checked baggage whereas US allows two 50lbs luggage.
Expect Less. Do More!
Taiwan: when using escalators, keep right if you are not in a rush. People are very helpful and friendly.
Chinese female don't like to be called older sister but Vietnamese girls and guys especially born in the 90s love to be addressed as older sis or bro. Culture difference.
Advice for new graduates. Don't pay a fee for working to teach abroad in the summer or full time. They only know how to charge you an arm and a leg. You can find it on your own.
Japan is free of trash and they stay on a certain side of the escalator depending on the city .
What I Can Share with Hosts
Over the years, I've talked to strangers, learned new languages, tried odd looking food, broadened my horizon, built up tolerance level, and formed long lasting friendship globally. I will always be in the learning mode. I hope we can share our knowledge, values, and expertise to improve simple yet intricate human experience.
