Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I signed up for this site because I needed places to stay as I moved from West Virginia to Bellingham, WA. Since then, I surf every once in a while and host whenever I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Here's one interesting experience: My mom came to visit in Washington and we went up to Vancouver, B.C. to see some of the winter olympic games. I lined up a place to stay with a couchsurfer because hotels were crazy expensive. It was a one bedroom apartment with a sheet draped from the cieling to the floor to seperate where he slept and where we slept. Never met him. He came in after we were asleep and left for work before we woke up. Just a note on the table greeting us with two bottles of water and directions to beer in the fridge. That is what CS is all about.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm all about some bluegrass.
I like educational non-fiction books. Most pertaining to world relations, geopolitical stuff. And my dad's book, "Hooked". Go guy it on Amazon, its hilarious.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My most amazing experience has probably been kayaking 225 miles over 16 days on the grand canyon. At the take out, I could have gone right back to Lee's Ferry and start it all over again.
