About Me

I'm 28 years old guy always looking for new discoveries in my work (apprentice researcher) and in social relationships. I like to share experiences about various subjects and I'm always curious about things. I'm born in Paris and grew up in Toulouse, south of France, very suitable for students but I recently moved back to my family town, Paris where I'm finishing my PhD in Cell Biology and Bio-engineering.
Oh and I'm also member of part-time music band.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a passionated of traveling and I like to explore new horizons by discovering the true people. I avoid as much as possible to stay in a hotel. In my work I need to move regularly to foreign countries and I'm always looking for couchsurfing experience first.

Interests

I appreciate many kind of music depending of my state of mind, but well yeah I'm more into rock music, as I'm playing guitare bass in my band. I like sciences and talking about sciences (sometimes it could be boring, I know), but I also like physical training, walking in mountains and sports in general. I used to do skateboarding, snowboarding and surfing and I'm recently trying to eat healthy.

Music, Movies, and Books

For books I would say Asimov truelly inspired me, as I mostly read science-fiction.
In music I'm not limited, I like to make music to hear new and old releases (sometimes I'm a bit stuck in the periode 70-90's).
For movies, it's a kind of mix of my hobbits, I'm more into science-fiction as well, but I enjoy comedy, thriller or even sometimes some Woody Allen movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the most amazing thing I've done was to believe in my passions which bring me to work in bio-engineering research where I'm really enjoying my job; and also never give up with my music band with which I already toured in many cities around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've started a teaching experience during my PhD and I can say that it reveals the real person behind. I don't know yet if I'm willing to be a teacher but I know that I'm enjoying broadcasting my passions. I'm curious and learning everytime and sharing back.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share our experiences in our domains, for me it would be sciences, music and travelling, and maybe some gastronomy but also I would like to discover the people, specialities and the place where I'm temporary staying.
