ABOUT ME

(most of this was writ when I was a bit younger. I'm now teaching English in Spain.)
Music! People! Ideas! My needs are simple - all I want is a warm bed and a house that isn't haunted. I like ideas but also things that really exist!
Living the timeless life. Trying to see a world too great to ever comprehend. I like my sugar sweet. I like my jazz and my folk music. I like deconstructions, psychology and sayings that stick in your head. I smile more than I do in my pictures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed across Ireland and had an amazing time, and met only wonderful people! It certainly beats sleeping in the streets, or for that matter, a hotel/hostel. Now I'm hosting and enjoying that too!

Saw a nurse shark while snorkeling.
One time I found a book from 1928 inscribed to Will on the last day of school. The title? "The School of Life".

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about music of the world. I can talk about literature and language for days. Could teach the drums or guitar... I study biology, with some basic knowledge of physics and chemistry, and try to think about the world in those terms too. I play a poor harmonica and a poor ukulele, a poor organ.
I have very basic knowledges of psychology and geology. I'll tell you about what the Sistine chapel's painting REALLY means.

Teach me something! I want to learn everything and anything interesting. Latin would be nice.
