Travelling before real life kicks in

ABOUT ME

We would describe ourselves as friendly, open-minded and humorous people. We love to cook for friends and have evening long talks in a cosy kitchen with a good bottle of wine, or two, or three, or (you get it that we really like wine!). But we are from bavaria, so surely we were raised with some beer in our milk bottles!!! If there is a good party around, especially Steffi likes to dance through the night. We like bad jokes and love to watch movies. We prefer smaller productions in their original languages (subtitled then) because you get another feeling for the film like that. During our biology studies we both spent time abroad (Roland in Australia, Steffi in Montréal, Canada) and enjoyed it a lot. After Steffi's studies in Canada, Roland arrived, we bought a car (his name was "BOB") and did a 2,5 months road trip through the USA and Canada. There we decided that we want to travel again after our studies. Now, in September we start a one year trip to South America and Asia to meet new people and get to know different cultures. Our plans so far are that we want to learn Spanish and go trekking in Patagonia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During our big trip we used couchsurfing a lot and it was amazing! It is the perfect tool for travelling really individually and see more of a place then only the sights and interchangeable hostels!
