I am 21 years old and I attend a local community college in Connecticut. I am traveling to see the world and to broaden my perspectives on life. What I am most passionate about is meeting and connecting with others. I also love to exercise such as going to the gym, playing basketball, hiking, and many more. In Summer of 2023 I backpacked across the United States and I had a joint account with my ex girlfriend. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get all the references from the all the amazing host I've stayed with. Last winter I also backpacked across South East Asia for 3 months after a Workaway host I stayed with in Seattle suggested I join him. I stayed with my 65 year old friend for 4 days and he helped me get situated in Thailand. I just started traveling the past year and it is the best thing I have ever done and I am beyond grateful for any new opportunity to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is mainly indie/folk music. I enjoy all types of music and love new recommendations. Some of my favorite movies are About Time, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and Fight Club.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked across the south of Mexico into the Mountains, about 430 miles (700km) in 3 days. From Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas in 13 rides. It was my first time ever hitchhiking/in Mexico and I don’t speak much Spanish. It was one of the hardest and most fulfilling things I have ever done. The last ride I got was a hour to Tuxtla and this very sweet older couple gave me a ride and offered to let me stay at their place in the city. They “adopted” me for the next couple days and called me their son. They then dropped me off at the bus station and waved me goodbye as I continued my journey. I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to end my hitchhiking adventure.

I can teach some basics of sports and a simple gym routine. I love learning from other people's experiences and I could share my unique perspectives from my experiences on life.

I love to spend quality time with people and I absolutely love meaningful conversations. I can help out with any cleaning or other chores if need be. I am also very open to new experiences and would greatly appreciate any opportunity to do so.
