ABOUT ME

I'm a newly graduated student from the USA. My sister just moved to Sofia, Bulgaria and I am spending a few weeks exploring the locations nearby. I have no firm plans, but a few places on my wishlist are Istanbul, Oslo, Greece, Italy, and France to name a few! I wonder how many people I'll get to meet before I return to the USA for more school in the fall?

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short and experiences are worth more than money. I try to avoid putting important things on the back-burner.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I'm in Europe, I will be generally traveling alone so I'd love to meet many couchsurfers who can show me things in their cities!

I would love to help someone out by lending them a place to stay for a few days. I'd also like to take advantage of CS and see the world!

Interests

I like learning how the locals live. I'd love to eat like a local, drink like a local, and learn a few words in the local language. Do you have any suggestions for things to do in your city?

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty passionate about music, especially folk music. From Sacred Harp to yodeling, I like to hear traditional music!

Some of my favorite musicians are Joanna Newsom, Kaki King, and Regina Spektor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing The Norwegian fjords from the top of a 600m cliff was incredible!

I have a fair amount of experience teaching English, so I can help with accent or anything else!
