About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Figuring out what I want to do when I grow up
ABOUT ME
I have a BA in history from UW-Eau Claire. My academic and professional interests are in history, government, and politics.
At home I enjoy a number of things such as reading, playing videogames, and working out. I also love traveling and seeing new things. Talking to people from different areas is very enlightening because I like to see how others think and feel about a variety of things.
I've met some really great people throughout my travels. Some of the best moments were interactions with people on trains and in buses. When I was in the Rome Metro I asked a kid dressed in a uniform if they were a scout. When that kid said yes I pulled out my Eagle Scout card and told him I'm a scout in the US. After that all of his friends flooded around me curiously asking me questions until I had to get off at my next stop. It was definitely one cool moment out of many I've had and many more that will hopefully come.
PHILOSOPHY
Having been raised Catholic, lived in a state that is roughly half liberal and half conservative, studied some of the works of Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, as well as some works from other writers, I would say I have a blend of influences. I try to be open minded about things and look at both sides of the issue before joining a side. I love to meet new people and interact with people from other cultures, it helps broaden my horizons and shows me what it is to be human.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'm just surfing and when am able to meet up with people who are travelling in the same area.
When I'm at home home I'm unable to host because I live with my parents, but it would be feasible to host someone in Eau Claire during the school year.

TV: House of Cards, Game of Thrones,NCIS, Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, StarGate SG-1, StarGate: Atlantis, StarGate: Universe
