ABOUT ME
If I can choose between flying or bussing/training, I'll always go with the latter, because I feel like I'm missing something or cheating when I don't see what's between Points A and B.
I don't particularly like claustrophobic spaces or unconscious habits. I do, however, like the ocean (swimsuit optional), especially if there are mountains in the background, but I wouldn't complain about a tent or even a cafe anywhere near the beach. I am bordering on the obsessive when it comes to travel, to literature, and the unknown.
I absolutely support live-for-the-dayers, although I can also sympathize with procrastinators, as I am both.
PHILOSOPHY
It's okay to wonder what lies out of view around the next corner of the trail. Another pastry at the next bakery.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list.
Music: Afrobeat, jazz, funk, punk, fusion
Authors: Antonio Tabucchi, Roberto Bolano, Rubem Fonseca, T Eloy Martinez, Murakami, Lidia Jorge, Paul Auster, and a host of others.
Film: A Clockwork Orange undeniably changed my teens, although I still don't know if I can say I liked it. Aside from being the least corny musical I've ever seen, Once is a fantastically evocative film, but so too is Fatih Akin's On the Other Side.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Torres del Paine in the rain. Dawn from Mt. Fuji. Ilha Grande at sunset. Glacier National Park. Istanbul at dusk. Snorkeling anywhere. All made that much more spectacular by the people I was with.
Teach, Learn, Share
Knowing how to get out of an unexpected situation, embarrassing stories, working with the moment, daily life philosophies. I never get tired of sharing experiences and learning about others' in relation to these topics.
Countries I’ve Visited
