Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have friends from all over the world that I met during my travels! I love meeting new people from different walks of life. I want to eat their ethnic food, learn about their culture and their language and to widen my global social of friends! I believe that the best way to travel is with a local.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

• Bungee jumping 50m in Chiang Mai, Thailand!

• Climbed 1267 steps to the top of Tiger Cave Temple in Krabi, Thailand!

• Climbed Mount Batur (1717m) in Bali, Indonesia!

• Learnt how to shuck oysters in Petaluma, CA, US!

• Met a stranger on my flight en route to Chiang Mai and we went on a road trip to Pai which has 762 curves on the road! He asked me how come I was OK to doing this with someone whom I just met on flight and said that he could be a kidnapper, haha! I just mustered the courage and had that amount of trust!

• Reverse bungee jumping in Boracay, The Philippines!

• Travelling solo! This means the most to me because it took me a hella lot of courage to go out there on my own but I did it! I even flew halfway across the world to live in San Francisco Bay Area for a little bit.

Teach, Learn, Share

• I can teach you basic phrases and words in Malay and Indonesian! Malay will come in handy if you plan on travelling to Malaysia and Singapore while Indonesian will come in handy if you plan to travel to the famous island of Bali in Indonesia!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you were to ever visit Singapore... I would be more than Glad to accompany you and bring you around all day! I’ll be like your personal tour guide at no cost, haha. But I’m also a Friend :) I’ll be open if you wanna invite me to a dinner/night out when I’m staying with you too :) I’m a great listener too.
