I was born and I'm still living in Warsaw and I'm proud of it. I had great possibility to take very active part in the independent students' movement during the Solidarity time (1980-1); then I was involved in students' tourist association (also as a chairman of the Tourist Clubs Union on the Technical University in Warsaw);
I'm working since 1986 as IT specialist - programmer, analyst, manager, auditor - whatever is necessary.
My wife Jolanta (we're the couple almost 30 years) was in past the chairman of Students' Bike Tourist Club, she in eighties have visited on bike almost whole Europe.
We have three adult sons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Our sons are travelling a lot and sometimes they are using Couchsurfing as a guests, so we thought why we couldn't be the member of the society as well?
Since this year we have possibility to host guests at our home. So we've decided to start couchsurfing both as hosts and sometimes.. as guests if somebody will host us :)

Cooking (it's mostly my wife's specialization)
Photography is the natural hobby... sometimes I'm spending even several months working with thousand of photos done during the holidays....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Now I'm leading the project (as a volunteer) of reconstrucion of belfry in former vilage in the south of Poland, look at www.polanysurowiczne.waw.pl.
