Über mich
I grew up in Poland, but never wanted to stay there. As soon as I got a chance I moved abroad. I've lived in Ireland for a large chunk of my adult life, and almost equal chunk in Sweden. Until not so long I ran my own construction company, but I handed it over to my brother and now I'm studying to get into IT.
Lifestyle-wise I find several schools of thought (minimalism, stoicism, Zen, Tantra, ) very intriguing, but I don't subscribe too strongly to any particular one (at the moment , anyway).
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I want to meet new people, from different places and different backgrounds, make new friends, play some new games (or old games with new people), be confronted with different view points than mine. That being said, with every person I host, I learn what does and doesn't work for me. So the way to get yourself hosted is to actually read my profile (and home description, too). Copied and pasted messages will be declined, as I am getting way too many of those.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
From recently seen: The Shape of Water, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Bladerunner 2049, La La Land, Ghost in the Shell.
Music - I listen to a wide variety of genres, depending on time, activity and mood, most recently discovered CloZee and she's dominating my playlist at the moment.
Books - again, from recently read: "Sapiens" & "Homo Deus" by Yuval Noah Harari, "The Way of Zen" by Alan Watts, Waking Up by Sam Harris, and "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck" by Mark Manson. When I occasionally read fiction, two authors that have never disappointed me are Neil Gaiman and John Scalzi.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
A few months ago I stumbled across this weird thing on the Internet, called "30 Challenges to Enlightenment" - I shared it with my partner and we got kind of curious and after some time we gave it a go - so far we completed 10 challenges, and it has been a very life-transforming journey.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
My life and careers exposed me to a lot of things, and I am happy to share. I know a lot about construction, photography, cooking (vegan), gardening, carpentry, mycology and bunch of other disciplines :)
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
I am at home in the garden, but I am also quite handy and I'm happy to help with those task that need to be done but one never has time for, like hanging shelves or patching cracks in the walls. I'm a good cook and decent baker, and If you need a decent photo I might be able to help out with that too,
