ABOUT ME

First of all, no surprises here- I'm deaf and that somewhat defines me- growing up deaf has shaped who I am today. I teach students in third-fifth grades and its what I love to do these days.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life as if there's no tomorrow... I really don't know how to say no to things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed some when I traveled in Asia and would like to continue whenever I travel as it was such a positive experience.

Life in general... reading, trash television, crossfit, spending time with family and my fiance.

Law & Order: SVU, Scandal, Prisonbreak, Fringe... to name a few favorite TV shows. I have too many favorite books- but the Harry Potter Series will always be a staple favorite. I don't listen to music.

I can definitely teach anybody ASL, since I'm deaf and I grew up using ASL. For me, traveling is to really see the story behind places so I like to listen to stories being shared.
