About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've just finished my trip to Europe: 20 Countries, 53 Cities, and 99 days!

ABOUT ME

I live in Jakarta with my parents, my sister and my younger brother. I was born in a very great family with a lot of great stories on it.

I love to travel to the other side of the world, seeing a lot of people, sharing experiences and culture to know each other that we are living in this small world.

PHILOSOPHY

Work Hard, Play Hard. Straight Go For Your Dream!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Across The Europe, From Dream to Reality.

It’s my biggest thanks to my Allah SWT that I’ve just made this journey from dream to reality. It’s also big thanks for all my family and my friends that really help me out to make this journey become believable.

I had this dream written on a paper in my wallet, one night on 21st October 2004, when I was a student in Bandung. But at that time, I never had a thought about how and when and anything about those dreams. I think it's just a dream. But I was wrong.

It’s on 9th May 2009, when I stepped down from the ladder of the Air Asia airplane, It’s the first time I stepped my foot on Europe, and starting my journey as follows:

Jakarta – Kuala Lumpur – London – Birmingham – Warwick – Leeds – Edinburgh – Birmingham – London – Offenburg – Karlsruhe – Zurich – Luzern – Hewl – Alpnachstad – Paris – Madrid – Barcelona – El Bruc – Esparreguerra – Athens – Bari – Rome – Vatican – Monterotondo – Pisa – Firenze – Milano – Busto Arsizio – Venice – Ljubljana – Budapest – Vienna – Guntramsdorf – Salzburg – Berchtesgaden – Bratislava – Prague – Dresden – Frankfurt – Berlin – Copenhagen – Malmo – Stockholm – Oslo – Stavanger – Hamburg – Sassenheim – Den Haag – Rotterdam – Amsterdam – Haarlem – Zandvoort – Utrecht – Maastricht – Vise – Offenburg – Birmingham – Kuala Lumpur – and back to my lovely Jakarta.

Which means, I visited 20 countries from Malaysia – England – Scotland – German – Switzerland – France – Spain – Greece – Italy – Vatican – Slovenia – Hungary – Austria – Slovak Republic – Czech Republic – Denmark – Sweden – Norway – The Netherlands – and Belgium.

It’s an unforgettable trip, with a lot of nice people on it. I can cry alone thinking about it. Now I believe that dreams can come true if I think about it repeatedly, and never say no for an answer.

I travelled so much from the coastline of Adriatic Sea to the shore of the North Sea. From the highest top of Alps Mountain to the lowest part of The Netherlands. From the comfort sleep on the night flight to the nice guy in the hitchhiked fish truck. From the modern Frankfurt sky crapper building to the historic small old town of Monterotondo. From the hottest day in Athens to the ice rain in Preikestolen. From the Saturday night in the Heddon Street of London to the emergency sleep with Hawaiian people in Prague Metro Station. From the nice warm Spanish family to the sarcastic Italian guy. From Salida to έξοδο. From the new friends expectedly to the old friends unexpectedly. From dream to reality.

One more thing. When I got home, I started to love my countries much more than before. It’s Indonesia. My home. With all the bad and the good people on it. It’s the country where I grew up, with all of the characteristics in every place which I can’t found in Europe. It’s so Indonesia. It’s so different. It’s so us. Hey, why don’t we just love each other?

Mam, I'm home!

Interests

I really like to eat, yet my weight is going bigger and bigger after I finished my college... I really loves Indonesian Food... they are so rich of spicy, very strong taste, and very great ingredients as we know that Indonesia is very rich of its tropical plantations all over the continents.

I also like to travel to the Europe. But years after years, I couldn't get any chance to go for it. But this year, I have a huge plan to make it real!!
