Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Short Answer : to connect and make friends with people from all walks of life, from all over the world, whatever their gender, race, religion, station in life, etc.

Long Answer : i find the basic concept of couch-surfing to be warm and selfless and would like to make my contribution towards this selfless ideal. if you are reasonably tidy, non-disruptive to the harmony of the neighbourhood, and harbour no ill-intentions, my door is always open :)

backpacking around Australia in 90 days via bus, train and plane - covering almost every state except South Australia and Tasmania.

some notable mentions / epic moments : being approached by an indian salesperson speaking japanese at a shop in surfer's paradise, brief stop-over at the northern tip of Australia on the flight between Cairns and Darwin (Gove/Nhulunbuy), being almost stranded at Alice Springs, kayaking Katherine Gorge, watching the Staircase To The Moon appear, watching the stars move across the sky during the 2hrs wait for connecting bus to Denham/Monkey Mia in the middle of the desert on the Great Northern Highway, traveling on the Indian-Pacific Train
