ABOUT ME

Alt music, books, movies, games, technology, culture, beer, fun and a lot of work. Involved with DIY punk/alternative culture since ever, I'm a music journalist and I live with my girl near of beach in a bay area city called Santos. I work 24/7 at home, in my website www.zonapunk.com.br, and in weekends working as dj or promoter at parties or punk gigs. Also im a cinema student and a indie movie maker, with 4 full documentaries released.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, since always receiving bands and friends from other cities at my house. It's great to share stories, cultures and why not, material stuff (cds, dvds and stuff like this). So since a band need a place to stay, for years, they always got on my house.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: 70s, 80s, 90s punk rock/hardcore; 80s, 90s and 00s alternative/indie bands; 70s and 80s hard rock/metal.
Movies: 1st rule. do not talk about fight club.
Books: Sade, Buk and anything about pop culture.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I run a indie website in do-it-yourself way called www.zonapunk.com.br for 18 years, and worked with lots and lots of pioneer projects in alternative/punk brazilian scene. Released 4 documentary movies as director.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teach: I can teach about my native and local culture. History, geography or (almost) anything about Brazil and São Paulo. Besides it I am a big connoisseur of music and alternative culture in general. Will be a preasure to share my experiences about this with other interested people about it.
