ABOUT ME
I'm a consultant for carbon-negative environmental design, blockchain-based local food networks and renewable energy (solar and micro-hydro). I now call Asheville, NC home, and enjoy most outdoor activities, but especially love biking, hiking, camping, floating down a river, and paragliding. I am very laid back, enjoy meeting people and sharing a great conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

Continue learning, changing and improving yourself through every experience that you are lucky enough to be a part of. Meditation is key, and energy is contagious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offered my couch for a year back in University, and have not been able to host since. I have stayed with a few hosts over the years, and enjoyed every experience I have had.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much...I have family and friends in most places I go. However, when I travel to new places, couchsurfing, hostels, and Airb&b are my go-to for accommodations.

Interests

Sailing is a great passion of mine, which is why I originally chose a career on boats. The more I do it the more I am addicted to it, but I now live in Asheville North Carolina and am a consultant for regenerative development, blockchain-based local food networks and renewable energy (solar and microhydro). I love Paragliding, Ultimate Frisbee, Hiking, Biking, and anything that involves experiencing something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

Game of thrones (the books first, then the show), All music except electronic and club music. Favorite movies are ones that make me think, are educational, or are fun to watch in a group.

Hiking past the "do not pass" signs up to the top of an active volcano (Arenal, Costa Rica).
