Somos uma família apaixonada pela vida e que ama viajar. Adoramos trocar experiências e aprender sobre a cultura de diferentes lugares. Culinária aqui é unânime e gostamos tanto de cozinhar como provar novos sabores, e estamos dispostos a provar qualquer coisa.

Malk é louco por pessoas. Ele é um cara que sabe manter o alto astral e adora conhecer novas pessoas e contar histórias, de coisas de infância a viagens ou qualquer coisa divertida e interessante. Ele é muito prestativo e está sempre disposto a ajudar com um sorriso.

A Debs é ligada em coisas bonitas: de paisagens de tirar o fôlego a casas bem decoradas, ela adora ver a beleza no mundo, especialmente no coração das pessoas. Uma pessoa muito sensível e que gosta de se conectar profundamente com as pessoas que conhece.

Recentemente, esses dois começaram a maior jornada de suas vidas: Eu. Me chamo Victor, sou muito novo e tenho ainda muito que aprender. Sou um bebê que mantém o sorriso aberto e gosto muito de brincar com novos amigos e conhecer novos lugares, a não ser que eu esteja com fome, aí só quero saber da mamãe.

We're a brazilian family which enjoys life and travelling. We love sharing experiences and learning the culture from diferent places. We love food in general (both cooking and tasting) and we're willing to try almost anything.

Malk is really into people. He's very light hearted and fun and loves meeting new persons and sharing all kinds of experiences, from childhood to travel and anything you find interesting or funny. He's very handy and is always willing to lend a helping hand with a smile.

Debs is very fond of beautyful things, from a wonderful landscape to a decorated house, she loves to see beauty in the world, but specially in the heart of people. She's very sensitive about peoples nature and she conects in deep and meaningful ways.

Recently these lovely couple embarked on the adventure of their lives: Me (Victor). I am still very young and have a lot to learn, but I keep a smile on my face and and I love to play with new friends and go to new places (except when I'm hungry, when I only want my mom)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Nós estamos no Couchsurfing porque a melhor coisa que há para conhecer no mundo são as pessoas, e nem mesmo em hostels se conhece as pessoas da cidade. Adoramos conversar e cozinhar e contar histórias, e conhecer as cidades pelos olhos dos seus habitantes e principalmente aqueles lugares que não estão em nenhum guia turístico. Dessa forma também gostamos de poder compartilhar um pouco da nossa lida cidade e como é morar em Curitiba.

We're on couchsurfing because the best to know around the world are the people, and it's really hard to meet them staying at hotels. We love chatting and cooking and sharing stories, knowing your place from a local's point of view and specially those places no touristic route would recomend. We also love showing our beautiful city and teaching a bit about what is it like to live in Curitiba.

Malk é um contador de histórias de qualquer espécie, desde um livro de literatura, uma boa sessão de RPG, um filme, uma série e especialmente as histórias de que cada pessoa tem pra contar.

Já a Debs adora tirar fotos dos lugares que visitamos e das pessoas que conhecemos. Ela também gosta de conversar sobre nossa cultura e aprender sobre outras culturas, principalmente moda, arquitetura e artes.

Mas o que eles gostam muito mesmo é de cozinhar, aprender novas receitas, drinks e se divertir com seus convidados. Falando sério, comida é a segunda melhor coisa para conhecer em uma cultura diferente. Se tiver alguma comida que você saiba cozinhar, ou algo tipico do Brasil que você queira conhecer conte-nos - assim saberemos que você leu o nosso perfil.

Nós todos crescemos em Curitiba (eu ainda estou crescendo), então mesmo que não possamos levá-lo para conhecer a cidade (normalmente estamos ocupados de segunda a sexta) nós podemos te dar dicas do que visitar e como chegar nos lugares de acordo com o seu interesse. à noite podemos cozinhar algo ou sair para fazer alguma coisa. Nos fins de semana as coisas são normalmente mais calmas e podemos planejar algum passeio legal para fazermos juntos.

Malk is a huge fan of stories, of any kind, from a classic literature book, a nice RPG session, a movie or TV series and specially the stories people have to tell about themselves.

Debs loves to take pictures of beautiful places we visit and people we meet. She also likes to talk about our culture and to learn about others cultures, specially about fashion, architecture and arts.

And they also really, really love to cook different things, to learn how to make different drinks and to party and to guest. Seriously, food is the second best thing you can experience from another culture. In fact, if there's something you can cook from your country or if you know some brazillian food you would like us to cook for you tell us about it - it's a way I know you read my profile.

We've all grown in Curitiba (well, I'm still growing), so even if we can't tour you around the city (we usually are busy monday to friday) we can give you tips on where to go or what to see based on your interests. In the evenings we can cook something or go somewhere. On weekends things get lighter and we can plan something more ellaborate and show you around.

Music, Movies, and Books

Meu pai é um grande fã de ficção. Ele leu o Senhor dos Anéis algumas vezes (quem tem tempo pra isso??) e é fã de Star Wars, Douglas Adams e Dr Who. Pra ouvir ele curte Rock Clássico mas é bem eclético e topa ouvir qualquer parada - pelo menos uma vez.

A mamãe é viciada em internet e lê um monte de blog de um monte de coisas que ela gosta - desde decoração até física quântica. Ela conhece um monte de estilos musicais bem variados, mas tem uma quedinha especial por Jorge Drexler.

Eu ainda não sei ler direito, mas as historinhas do Dr Seuss são muito legais e eu gosto de canções de ninar.

Dad really likes fiction. He's read Lord of the Rings quite a few times (who's got the time for that??) and is a big time fan of Star Wars, Douglas Adams and Dr Who. Musically speaking, he's Classic Rock kind of guy but he's very open minded and is always curious about new styles and singers/bands.

Mom is kinda of an internet addicted and read a lot of blogs about pretty much everything she finds interesting and wants to learn - from how to style a room to rocket science stuff. Debs has a very wide knowledge about different music styles - and a special place in her heart fo Jorge Drexler's music.

As for me, Dr. Seuss and Lullabies are great choices.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Até onde eu sei, a coisa mais incrível que esses dois já fizeram fui eu - especialmente porque a mamãe foi muito corajosa e teve um parto totalmente natural com o papai lá dando apoio pra ela.

Mas antes de eu nascer eles fizeram uma viagem de carro muito legal pro Uruguai e Argentina, sem planos, sem reservas e sem rumo e de coração aberto pro que viesse. E foi nessa viagem que eles entenderam que viajar era muito mais que fazer turismo e que muito mais legal que os lindos lugares a visitar eram as pessoas que eles encontraram no caminho.

As far as I'm concerned, the most amazing thing this two have ever done was me. - specially because my mom was very brave and delivered me naturally and dad was there to help her through it.

But before I was born, once they took a road trip to Uruguay and Argentina, with no reservation, no fixed destinations and an open mind to whatever was in store for them.

It was during this trip that they opened their minds to become travelers rather than tourists, and realised that the place is irrelevant compared to the people you meet on the road.
