ABOUT ME

Hello I´m William Santiago from Brazil. I teach Portuguese as a foreign language.

We offer much more than Portuguese classes here. Please take a look at the information below. In case you are interested in coming to Brasil or if you know anybody who´d like some special help, please look for me.

I own a language school here in Brasil called WIDE VISION in Brasil.

It is a small place, we have about 90 students and most of them study English but we also teach Spanish an Portuguese as a foreign language.

As I said we do not only teach Portuguese, we do much more than that.

I´ve been a kind of tutor of the students from the University of Chester which is in Chester, England and they have sent me a group of different students once a year since 2006. www.chester.ac.uk

They usually spend about two months here and then go back to England. We usually take care of everything. From picking up at the airport to taking them back to the plane.

I mean we give them about 80 hours of Portuguese classes, capoeira, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, dance, drama and martial arts classes, hiking, going up the mountains at the National Park in Teresópolis, visiting museums, Brazilian history, weekends in Paraty, Angra dos Reis, Rio das Ostras, Búzios, boat trips around the islands, booking pousadas ( hotels), homestay (about 20 very reliable families), internships ( we´ve just had some students from the Avans Universty - Holland - they spent five months doing reseach), soccer classes, visiting CBF ( the Brazilian Main Team Concentration), community/volunteer work and so much more.

Wouldn´t you like to visit us?

I would like to bring other people to Brazil and show them how good it is. We can even take you to other states easily so that we can visit the Iguaçu Falls, Pantanal, Nordeste ( the Northeast) etc.
