ABOUT ME

I was told to be very polite, sometimes funny and always authentic.
As I am teacher "with heart and soul" I am used to live in a younger and uncomplicated sourrounding and so I am an easy to handle guest and a non boring hoster.
In my youth I loved to hitch-hike and to travel by interrail - and I am dreaming of doing interrail at least one more time in my life - maybe combined with couch surfing, that would be great !

Made my first positive CS experience, although Neukirchen seems to be "too far in the woods".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Schnuckibar's CS party and hosting was great, and I made positive experience as a host - hopefully there will be time soon to be hosted somewhere else in the world (maybe soon in Norway at Wannebe Hippie ;-) )

Interests

music, reading, movies, foreign countries and cultures, cooking, drive with motorcycle, relaxing, enjoy life and dance the whole night through.
My former hobby was oldtimer restauration, even if I gave up on this I am further interested in.

Music, Movies, and Books

Beside many others I red all the funny crime stories of hiaasen, and the impressing books from Paulo Coelho I like music "quer durch den Gemüsegarten", classics, R&B, funk, jazz, soul ...
Music from Pino Daniele, Tom Waits, piano music from Eric Satie, Jazzrock from Al di Meola, and al lot of many others of all kind of music ( I once collected LPs and CDs).

I like movies with Penelope Cruz ("Vicky Christina Barcelona", "Elegy", ...), Richard Geere and (you know her ?) Gruschenka Stevens (amazing in the movie "Mondscheintarif").

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a visitor at 2007 rock festival NOVA-ROCK in Nickelsdorf/Austria in between a croud of 170.000 mostly young musicfans - never did this in my own youth and had a lot of fun this time (see photos).

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a teacher at a higher technical shool and changed to trainings for young adults , but I am still learning by myself.
I am a enthusiastic cook for indian food and like to learn new recipies. But you will get simple Austrian dishes too.
