A 26 year old student from Serbia, currently living and studying in San Sebastian.

I was very fortunate to travel and live in many places in the last 3-4 years, experiencing cultures of 3 different continents and meeting most wonderful and interesting people on the way. All of that shaped me into a person that I am today - open-minded, optimistic and always ready to wander on the streets of a new town, explore the mountains and the countryside, while meeting people on the way and listen to their stories.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Since I've heard about couchsurfing a long time ago, I was intrigued with its concept and the opportunities that it offers. Since then, I've met a lot of great people that are part of the couchsurfing community (especially in the Philippines and in Greece), and had my first real couchsurfing experience in the Philippines. It was on the island of Palawan, in the Philippines, where 4 of my friends and me were traveling for a week. But sadly, a Brazilian girl and me got very sick on the bus ride on the way to our destination, so instead of enjoying the time with our great host (who btw built a whole awesome house for couchsurfers!!), we spent most of the time in bed. Still, for the little time I got to speak with the host, it was a great experience overall.

Getting lost during the camping trip in the Smokey mountains in the US, and finally finding a great alternative sleeping place in an old watchtower, situated on a huge rock on one of the mountain's peaks.
