Hi. My name is Wojciech or Wojtek for short. I study animation in Łódź, Poland. I am not much of a traveler yet but I am slowly working on that!

I love anything that involves manual work and creativity to make something. I enjoy conversations, learning, sports - especially basketball, both board and computer games. I am also a fan of movies.

I am not always very talkative around new people but can talk about almost anything. I like to pass on my knowledge as well as finding out brand new things. Most of all I like to improve and evolve my mindset and that happens mostly through conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to break some of the barriers I have. Mainly when it comes to travel. I want to travel a lot yet I found it very difficult for myself so far. Also I want to meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rap is my go to genre but I listen to a lot of stuff. My favorite vinyls at the moment are soundtrack from Sugar Man by Sixto Rodriguez and soundtrack from Drive.

My favorite movie is Las Vegas Parano but there are many more films that I greatly enjoy. I am particularly fond of directors such as Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese and Quentin Dupieux.

As for authors I like Hunter S. Thompson, Witold Gombrowicz, Mikhail Bulgakov, Carlos Ruiz Zafón, George R. R. Martin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my last year I created an animated puppet movie that I am still quite proud of.

Once I crossed a river walking over a fallen tree!
