Looking for a cheaper and better way to travel

ABOUT ME
I love visiting new places and I try to travel at least twice a year. Usually, I stay at hostels. I've been visiting Europe and South America, but now I'd like to see some cool places in the US. Since there are not that many hostels here, I'm thinking about trying a new way of traveling.

I am hosting travelers and I am looking for places to stay as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used couchsurfing a couple of times, and I've only had wonderful experiences with my hosts.

兴趣

Traveling! Backpacking, hiking, being outdoors. When I'm not doing that, I'm learning Spanish, watching UGA football, watching World Cup/Euro Cup, going to concerts, watching weird movies, etc.

Movies: too many to list, but most importantly Oldboy, City of Lost Children, Naked Lunch, Scanner Darkly, Trainspotting, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Black Mirror (TV show, I know)

Music: metal (Mastodon, the Sword, Pantera, old Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Behemoth), classic rock (Pink Floyd, the Doors, Led Zeppelin), the Black Keys, BRMC, some rap (Outkast, die Antwoord) and electronic (Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic, Bassnectar, Beats Antique)

Books: Game of Thrones!
