I'm Polish, Canadian and American. I was born in Poland, moved to Ottawa when I was barely a year old, lived there for 10 years then relocated to Massachusetts. I go by my middle name, "Remington."

I ended up coming back to my place of birth, Lublin, Poland for medical school. I just graduated medical school in Poland and now I'm studying for the US medical licensing exams before heading back to the US. I plan on training as a general surgeon.

While studying in Lublin I met the love of my life, my girlfriend Iwona Szymańska. She goes by "Eve." She's Polish, twenty-three years old and a third year medical student. So far, she's interested in pediatrics and endocrinology. She speaks English very well and her French is better than mine.

We both have outgoing personalities, love to try new things and really enjoy traveling. This profile will be about the both of us since we will be traveling together!

I've had great experiences couchsurfing in the past. Met quite a few really nice people. I've couchsurfed in Budapest, Vienna and Prague before. I've hosted a couple times in Lublin. My family home in Massachusetts has always accepted many friends of friends from Poland and Canada so the tradition of hosting travelers is in my blood. I grew up flying back to Poland every summer and my father lived in Taiwan for an extended period of time so I've always loved traveling, meeting new people and experiencing other cultures. I'm on couchsurfing to share my love of traveling, cultural exchange and to meet more interesting people!

兴趣

I grew up skiing as a kid and love it to this day. I've shared my passion of skiing with Eve and she now skis very well! We both love the mountains and have been hiking our whole lives. We also share a passion for reading (although medical school has made it a bit more difficult time wise). Eve's a great singer even though she doesn't like to admit it!

We love music and are always listening to something. I'm mainly stuck in 90's alternative but in general love rock, blues and listen to a lot of indie music from a decade ago. Eve listens to a lot of rock too but is more up to date with music, listens to more pop and is always sending me something new and amazing to listen to. We also like classical music, pop from the 50's, jazz and Polish music. But we will literally listen to anything and enjoy it - it's always nice to hear something new or different!

We both like biking and swimming. I use to run a lot until my knees gave out and had to cut back. Eve started doing yoga half a year ago and really likes it.

I like to cook. Eve is into makeup. We love cheese, good tea and coffee. We like art in general. We like live music, concerts, the theatre. Eve like's impressionist paintings, I like surrealism. We like to go to the movies.

I grew up not far from the coast so I like boating, sailing, fishing.

We're also passionate about our studies and medicine. We both get great satisfaction from helping ease others' suffering so we were drawn to becoming doctors.
