Overview
About Me
I'm a freelance graphic designer and facilitator and I'm very much involved in the food coop movement in Warsaw.
I particularly enjoy places that are unusually wild and contradicting the urban character of the city. Warsaw has a few of those, like wild orchards, hidden beaches, wild boar retreats, little "jungles", etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I very much enjoy the idea and I also travel quite a bit every year meeting lots of new people on the way.
I don't have any references or contacts here because on the one hand I usually live in quite small places with limited possibility to host and on the other, when traveling, I usually stay at places of friends of friends or I hook up with people on the way.
I've been online and hosting on CS since about 2006 but the old site got taken down. Until recently I lived in a very small place with no hosting option but now I'm open to visitors again!
Interests
I design books and other printed materials and I'm very much involved in food activism and cooperatives here in Warsaw and I do a lot of workshops and teaching on issues of degrowth and cooperativism, but also 'soft' thing like communication, feedback, etc. Since about 4 years I'm a member of the food coop Dobrze (dobrze.waw.pl).
