ABOUT ME

I am a 32 Years old self Designer and passionate Sailor. Right now I am running Fab Lab Berlin, an open Research and Development Space for Digital Fabrication and Rapid Prototyping! In 2012 I spent 3 Months couchsufring on a research / road trip from Chicago to the East Coast of the US and back.

I had many great hosts on that trip and now I am looking forward to giving back to the community by hosting people in Berlin.

I live in a shared flat with my Girlfriend. We have a big kitchen and our two rooms (One with a sleeping couch.)

We live on the southern border of Prenzlauer Berg / Wedding, 15 minutes walking distance to Alexanderplatz. It's a rather quiet neighborhood but very central in Berlin and good public transport nearby.

PHILOSOPHY

For every hour that you spend on a sailing boat you will live one hour longer!

I used to travel a lot with hospitalityclub.org and Couchsurfing in europe and I had a great couchsurfing trip in the United States this year (2012)

I can teach: Sailing, German language, cooking (e.g. Sauerkraut Lasagne :), How to fix a puncture in a bike in 5 Minutes, A lot of computer stuff (3d modeling, photoshop, Rendering, basically what Designers do with computers.
I would like to learn: New cooking recipes, The best way of living in a city, ähhm, let me think about some more...
