Friends describe me as a quite relaxed and easy going person. I would go as far as saying I can get along with pretty much anyone as long as they are friendly and willing to compliment me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I am travelling, on my own or with a friend, I would very much like to get to know people from the country. Maybe get some helpful tips on food, culture, events and in general how to spend your time in their home country. Of course it is fun to experience this stuff on your own, but sadly most of the time there is not enough time ;)
As soon I am back home again, I would also gladly welcome people to my couch in Aachen.

Interests

I love doing sports such as football or martial arts. I am also a big fan of watching footy, my fav team being Manchester United.
Music is also a very important thing in my life. I play the guitar, not as much as I used to, but I will definetly pick it up again as soon as I am back home.
I also like going to concerts and festivals.
Apart from that I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside, hiking or just chilling with friends in the park, baking in the sunshine, playing games, drinking an occasional drink ;) and basically enjoying life.
Occasionally I also like to work, for my decree which can be quite interesting (I study Georessourcesmanagement) and I really like working with my hands. I worked on different building sites on various occasions, but sadly have never really learned a craft (yet).

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be really into hip hop and rap music. German as well as english/american. Meanwhile electronic music has entered my life such as Techno, Minimal and Deep House music.
My true passion though will always be with hip hop.

I enjoy all kinds of movies like drama, thrillersand weird, silly comedies. Hollywood films not so much. Some of my favourites are Gilbert Grape, Inception, Lord of the Rings, Napoleon Dynamite, Southpaw and A Beautiful Mind.

I also enjoy reading thrillers, one of the best series I read lately was written by Jo Nesbo. Another great author for me is Ken Follet. My favorite book though is called Der Steppenwolf
