ABOUT ME

I am a man looking to have a good time while doing my part to make the world a more loving and peaceful place. I have spent a great deal of time in the backcountry backpacking, climbing, and guiding. I just want to help make the world the best place it can be.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will help any way i can. If you need a couch, i can supply one (if i have one), i plan on hopefully surfing around the world. I want to meet people and make wonderful friends. But, I am also willing to try to help if you need help for anything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a few honest souls, go to weekly meetings in Boulder, CO when I'm in town, try to meet for coffee when traveling, and I am looking forward to accepting the generosity of many good people at their homes.

Musica, film e libri

I love shakespeare and most classic texts. I have a thing for Tolstoy. Though my favorite book would have to be Anathem.

I am a huge movie go'er, and tend to like them all except to for really bad crude ones.. I can stand any music except country and lao, I love acoustic music and heavy rock and roll the best though.

-Living amongst the native Tarahumara for two weeks in Copper Canyon Mexico.
-Working for an NGO for 6 months In Northern Laos.
-Living with/in a self subsistent culture 100% different than my own up bringing.
-Having the opportunity to help people who have been injured.
-Having had the opportunity to travel around a large portion of Europe and Asia
-Having spent over a year in the backcountry
-Having had the opportunity to meet all the wonderful, supportive, and unique people in my life.

I want to learn how to better myself as an individual and be the best me I can be. However, special skills that I know include, climbing, skiing, Mountain guiding, Backpacking, English, Website development, computer technical skills, fitness training, medical skills (WFR/Pre-Med), and anything else that is reasonable upon request.
