I've been traveling since I was 17. At first for skateboarding, then surfing. Then at 21 I found humanitarian work in post revolution Romania, then war-torn Bosnia. And have been traveling across multiple countries since then with different humanitarian agencies.

I was I'm divorced, with two amazing kids - Nikita (a boy) who is 31 and my daughter Kira who is 24. They're both in Scotland.

I met my fiancee and soul mate, Kasha Rigby in early 2021 in Bangladesh where we were both working for the Rohingya refugee crisis. Due to marry in September 2024, she was killed in a skiing accident/ avalanche in February 2024. My life has changed fundamentally since then.

I decided to set up Movement in Refuge, a humanitarian organisation that brings sports, yoga we and movement training to refugees and neighboring local communities. This is something Kasha and I were passionate about. This is our legacy mission and we're on it together!

My new focus on Movement in Refuge is unpaid, voluntary work, so I'm traveling for work and trying to save money in accommodation, while celebrating the positive human connections that are so rich in this world. This is why I joined couch surfing.
