ABOUT ME

i'm a very open minded guy from germany... living in the SF bay area since over 1.5 years now and i'm really enjoying it. i miss some of my peoples food every once in a while tho.
i basically work in the field of computers but don't consider myself a nerd... maybe a geek here and then :)
since i can afford it i love to travel and going on road trips.
when i'm not in the (home)office, i like to go out for a run, or play disc golf (just discovered this fun hippie sport), cooking, read a book or watch a movie/documentary, meet with frinds, party, clubbing and so on.
i'm a passionate music consumer... and the best way to enjoy it is live. my favorites are psych./stoner rock, indie stuff and electronica/house/trance - i usually don't like hip hop/rap/r'n'b.
i'm generally a night owl kind of person - i barely get to bed before 2am.
i love to have good conversations about travels, random stories, science, society, music, people, food, books, movies and so on.

slept on numerous couches in my live... one of them was a couchsurfing encounter. so far nobody requested to surf my couch - could be because dublin is already a bit out of SF ;)

DunaJam - probably the greatest live music experience ever (one week of generator powered live music on beaches, in dunes or mines, etc.).
