ABOUT ME

I'm a good ol' boy from the Midwest where I grew up on farms and in small towns. I joined the Marine Corps for 4 years and traveled a bit. I worked security jobs for a couple years and then went to college getting my AA degree. I currently teach the Navy at Port Hueneme on basic infantry skills before they deploy to Afghanistan. I am also a writer of two books and enjoy internet marketing.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is simple. Live your life how you seem fit and dont allow other people to get in your way. I have no business caring about what others think about me and my ambitions on this Earth. I'm here to stay and make myself and others happy along the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have an empty apartment in Hollywood, CA that is open to anyone that wants to stay. I'll have it until July 8, 2010. My apartment is right in the middle of everything and actually Snoop Dogg lives above me. If you want to stay here, you'll love it. I want to start couch surfing because I just heard about this site and am very intrigued. I've been reading books on traveling and know that I need to get out there and this seems to be a good program. I am a very respectful person and I know that the people on this site are good-natured like myself.

Interests

I am interested in reading and ocean activities. I have my scuba license and love to be outdoors. I also love technology and internet marketing so I am trying to keep a good balance between the two.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The climax of my life so far has been in the Marine Corps where I was on the front lines of the invasion of Fallujah, Iraq. I am a Purple Heart recipient and recieved over 12 combat medals of valor. I think another amazing thing that I've done is write two books and what I've created with my internet business.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well a big part of my background is military and private security. I teach the Navy Seabees how to build bombs and train for a battlefield. But that might be a little intense for my hosts, so another double life I live is internet marketing where I know a lot about how to create products and sell them online. I make half my income training the Navy, and half through selling my own products. So if you want to know that, I can show you!
