Shawn(25) and I (Jes-24) have been married since 2006 and have lived in China for about a year and a half. Our good friend Mike(27) has been living and teaching in China for almost 5 years. We all love trying new things, going new places, and we aren't afraid to take a few risks!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time my husband and I met Mike we ended up buying motorbikes in Southern China, taking back roads, exploring new towns, and ended up sleeping on the floors in homes of minority villagers! We had a blast, and all of the bumps along the way made things just that much more interesting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We motorbiked through the rainforest and camped on the riverbanks in Southern China (XiShuangBanna) at the mere suggestion of a friend with a single days preparation with no plan beyond an end date and an outdated map.
