About Me

CURRENT MISSION

getting a bachelor's degree

ABOUT ME

Where to begin? Normally I'm pretty lazy therefor uncomplicated. I'd say my laziness is something good. I work if I have to but not if there are other ways out.

I have a real easy going look upon life. Don't worry be happy - you could say. I know it's not always that easy but in a lot of cases that makes me chilled about many things. So I don't get pissed about everything and I try to get along with everybody even with people I might not like. "Tranqulio" as Spanish would say.

Besides all that you need a good humor. And so do I.

PHILOSOPHY

Make the best of your life. Enjoy it, it's too short to get angry about peanuts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If it is possible I offer my couch to anyone who needs a place. In return I hope to find a place to sleep wherever I might travel.

As I said about myself: I'm lazy. Therefore it can take sometime until I write references about people I hosted or people who let me surf. Nevertheless, I always remember my CouchSurfing experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The experiences I had were awesome. CouchSurfers are friendly open-minded persons. The people I stayed at were great, the people I hosted were great and the people I meet through CouchSurfing were great. I have never had bad experience and hopefully I'll get to know a lot more pleasant fellows.

Interests

Music, books and movies get a lot of attention when I have time. Otherwise I spend it with friends talking, drinking, relaxing, enjoying a student's life.

Traveling is a big issue. I really like learning about different cultures and people. And I like weird languages, I started to learn some Welsh from a friend, but I gave up on it.

And I love to sleep. Stay up late and then sleep all day long.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will focus on music in this brief description: There are many different genres I like.

Most of the music I'm listening to is Rock, Alternative and Indie. Stuff like Franz Ferdinand, Portugal. The Man, Death Cab For Cutie, The Hoosiers, Babyshambles, The Wombats, Chikinki, The XX or German: Microboy, The Robocop Kraus.

Then some slower things such as Belle And Sebastian, Au Revoir Simone, Camera Obscura.

I also enjoy bands like Menomena, Get Well Soon, Tunng, Seabears.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the highest waterfall in the world (Angel Falls in Venezuela) from a small prop airliner.

The Dalai Lama smiled and waved at me (or at least at the people around me).

I have climbed a 5000 meter high mountain in the Himalaya.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can do magic - maybe you shouldn't call it magic but it makes people laugh.

Besides that, I can do some pretty nifty math. So if you need any help solving problems - I should be helpful in most cases.
