Hey my name is Wolter, and back home I study arts and illustration but currently I'm taking a break and traveling through Japan. I have been working in a guesthouse in Osaka for the past month. So far it has been such a fun and rewarding experience, and I have loved meeting people from many different countries and backgrounds, and hearing their stories. Before I go back to the Netherlands I would really like to see more of Japan so that's why I'm trying couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best part of being here has been meeting people and making friends. A friend introduced me to couchsurfing and it seems like an amazing way to meet people and experience Japan in a different way.

Interests

I love art and culture and any kind of creative outlet. I'm super interested in film, photography, music and illustration. I enjoy tasting different beers from around the world and writing angry reviews about them to my friends.

I love animated films, 90's coming of age flicks and have a special place in my heart for the Harry Potter series. I enjoy many types of music but lately have been listening to a lot of hiphop, mathrock and bossa nova spotify playlists.
