ABOUT ME

Mostly those people tell nice things about me ;-)) because I am respectful, gentleman, warm at heart, social, friendly, creative, entrepreneur, young of hearth , open minded and easy going. I love children, animals, gardening, nature in general, arts & architecture, technical stuff, cooking, all kinds of culture/events. I am a smart and handy man, who speaks Dutch, English, French, German, and understands some Italian and Spanish.

PHILOSOPHY

I am quite philosophical in my approach of life, with a zest of Buddhism/zen. Ambitious. Realist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'dd like to do all kinds of things for people who are kind to me...by offering a couch for example...
The least is cooking and helping a hand (or more).
Any suggestion is a good one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. I stayed often in youth hostels, pensions, and B&B's. Some Italian and Spanish students who studied in Ghent (Belgium) stayed at my adress for several months to a year. We still keep contact and visit me, even after 20 years, now with their partners and children. I'd like to believe for that reason, that they find me a likeable person.

Interests

I am a guy with many interests, and I like meeting/having people around me. I like cooking, culture/architecture , art, learn other languages, self developement, non-fiction reading, environment, traveling, music, film, wine and dine, activities in/around water, going to events,etc, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on tour in Portugal beginning eighties. In Lisboa I experienced en enjoyed by surprise a free private show of Amalia Rodiguez (the very best fado-singer ever). We where there - except for her own company - just with my 4 friends !!! I was a VIP-guest after a concert of Diana Ross in Vorst Nationaal, Brussels and enjoyed her performance a lot.

I am willing to share anything I know and can. Since I have been leading companies and organisations I needed to know all kinds of things. I like to pass on my knowledge, especially on how to become financial independent.
