Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i like the chance to share experiences on a personal base with yet unknown people around the globe.

Interests

i barely travel anymore - not because i don't like it, just because i have 3 free days in a row tops and i'm putting nearly all of my saving into the learning experience of art projects. i been all around the world as a kid.
i put alot of effort in my art projects - between sculpture, machines, programming and robotics. i like building things, building weird, funny and complex things. i try to combine the discoveries of technical advantages coming from space exploration in contrast to the philosophical questions originating from everyday ordinary noclass life - humor, fun and irony are very important for me, so industry isn't. =)
sitting around with nice chilled people, drinking coffee and wine, talking about the most diverse things and sharing the weirdest non-technical experiences are things i do alot in my free time.
i enjoy doing everday-sports like badminton, frisbee, soccer, ice skating and snowboarding. sometimes i go jogging alone to burn off my energy and get a clear head.

Music, Movies, and Books

most of the time i don't listen to music. i can share the fascination for all styles, but if i had to choose i would probably choose between classic, jazz and every combination. there's this french internet radio called FIP and a good website called noisli... =)
i have a wide experience with movies: my favorites are easter europe productions made around the 60s and 70s, classic good and weird sci-fi etc. (Sokurov, Chitylova, Kubrick)
due to my interests i'm trying to read early sci-fi (<1930) and books from german romantic times, but i mostly end up reading art theories, philosophy, technical and math books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

helping people on their own projects, as i always try to help people realising and exploring themself.
...i built a movable shower as a performance machine - everybody who knows me can share (and was involved in) my fascination about these 2 years work, so that's a useless but functional thing i'm very proud of.
