About Me

CURRENT MISSION

MMMMM current mission is a hard one. Well the 1st is to travel but isnt that what everyone on this site would write? I would like to complete the childrens book im writting and to cook my way around the world.

ABOUT ME

So what would my friends say???? Well i reckon they would say im nuts for traveling the world alone. They would also say i have a lot of guts as i can talk to anyone in any situation. I tend to do anything for a dare (especially when alcohol is involved), which they think is hilarious.
What would i say about myself? Well i would say that I'm loving my life and there seems to be nothing that i cant do (well if money permits). I take life's challenges and turn them into a game and yes i play a lot of games. I want to see everywhere, go everywhere and experience everything. I want to tell my grand kids some great stories.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to live, i want to live forever (as long as im fit and healthy) there isnt enough time in this life to achieve everything i want to do but im going to give it a good damn go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have an ability to make friends very easily which is a good thing when traveling alone. I love partying but also exploring cities and the country side. I love to laugh. I have heap of things i want to achieve in my life including; finishing the children's book i'm writing (and getting it published), moving to South Africa, opening my own bakery, doing a cake decorating class, doing more volunteer work, to have my own case full of books in my house, ride in a hot air balloon, the list goes on!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a lot of couch surfers on my travels when we have been staying in hostels and they have recommended this site so here i am, giving it a go.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes are exreeeeemly varied. My two favorites are drum and bass and vocal Jazz. I suppose it depends on what im doing as to what i listen to. When im driving i like to bash the steering wheel and sing along to like punk rock or ska. Snowboarding i like metal, rock and the prodigy. Partying Drum and bass, dubstep and electro and chilling i like jazz and ibiza chill out stuff.
I love to read my faves are; The book thief, tipping the velvet, memoirs of a geisha, fingersmith, pappilon, most phillipa gregory, the life of pai, the time travellers wife, the rosary girls, chocolat, the lollipop shoes, a thousand splendid suns, the help, a million little pieces. Movies mmmmm well, my fave is the shawshank redemption. I like anything with a twist that makes you think WTF like Awake, anyone seen that?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most rewarding thing i have done in my life so far is teaching English in Cambodia. I was volunteering and my class was 42 children from the ages of 4-15. Very demanding but i loved every minute of it. I was helping there for 3 weeks everyday. I cried when i left.

Teach, Learn, Share

Dance, dance, dance, laugh, laugh, laugh. The best things in life that are free!
I recommend doing a cooking course in every country, you will learn how to cook your favorite meals and its a great day out. Be warned you get a LOT of food so maybe eat lightly the day before and nothing on the day so your super hungry when you get there.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antigua and Barbuda, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Germany, India, Laos, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom
