ABOUT ME

I left New York more months ago than I expected, and have seen so much thanks to both unofficial and official couch surfs. I've met so many great people and want to continue to experience cultures around the world.

I like to take photos of things that are more off the beaten path, however, I'm not going to miss out on the Eiffel Tower or the pyramids!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to meetings in NY as well as meeting up for coffee with a few CSers. Now that I'm on the road, I've started to get on some couches and meet some people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Other than meetings, I've just begun the couch"surfing" part. My first stay in Georgtown, Penang made me quickly realize that is about WAY more than just a free place to stay. Staying with like-minded people who know the area makes all the difference! You see a side that is off the tourist trail.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I can't pay attention to a whole movie. 3 and a half minutes is more my speed, so I like a lot of music. It depends on my mood but usually like, everything. Currently, I'm really into Brett Dennen, Ray LaMontagne, James Morrison, Spoon. I also like hip hop, Jay-Z, Eminem, Mos Def,The Game (he's awesome in concert, there's fireworks!). Sometimes I'll get down to some Phillip Glass or Billie Holiday....and other jazzy music!

As for books my favorites are The Fountainhead, Life of Pi and The Giving Tree and any photography books.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I checked my watch when I was underwater in Fiji and it still worked. For some reason, that fascinates me. I did have an underwater pen once too. I love writing while swimming.

Peed on the top of the Eiffel Tower. I can't believe there's a bathroom up there!
