About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelwise I need to travel to North and South America some time!

ABOUT ME

An outgoing social guy interested in people that usually doesn't miss a chance to try something new, be it food, activity or anything else!

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to have a positive outlook on things in life! What really interests me is meeting new people who are eager to pursue more understanding of other people and the world, either through doing things or just lots of interesting conversation! After reading philosophy (and being inspired by my grandfather who worked as a surgeon in Tanzania until he was more than 80 years old) I decided that I would study medicine, in order to have a challenging job that will be both theoretical as well as practical, while working with helping out people at the same time :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Note this: My lifestyle is quite spontaneous so when it comes to hosting I often don't know whether I have the opportunity to host until a week before the requested time :)
Lately been doing more and more hosting which I find really nice during the occasions when I have the time to really be a nice host and a guide of my beautiful city Gothenburg! Trying to couchsurf as much as possible while travelling, especially as a solo-traveller!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Me and my brother met with some people in South Korea, one girl which we've met thrice, and each times ended up talking about nothing and everything for 12 hours straight. Another girl which invited us into her house while her parents were gone during Chuseok (the biggest national holiday) so she offered us Korean food and we cooked her some Swedish food, another day we ate chicken's feet, drank somaek (soju mixed with beer) did karaoke and played some video games. All good times :)

Meeting a Canadian and a Swizz girl in Tokyo, ended up partying and doing purikura!

Having dinner with families in Sri Lanka, Vietnam and South Korea, getting to know table manners and local food in all of these countries, really interesting!

Very often evenings have ended up with long talks and some drinking, really nice way to spend the time in my opinion!

Interests

As a doctor my biggest interest is people, but other than that I'd say that all kinds of sports and exercising, together with partying and music would be my other big interests! I really like to try new things that can give me some new experiences and give me a new outlook on the world!
