HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting & Surfing, CS meetings, Irregular activities, Information & Local knowledge sharing & support.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Began as a host but then mostly surfing till the Feb 2012 when I was back to China- now I use CS to meet you interesting people and occasionally host people if you absolutely need my couch:) To be honest I dont really do CSing gathering in SH, so no info could be shared.

I m more into interpersonal meetings.And I try to show tourists around shanghai and do stuff tgt:)
Here s some "experiences" I ve acquired along the journey:

Book:I read a lot and all kinds of readable materials (Including recipes and commercial ads:). In the last few years academical materials, blogs and newspapers took more of my reading time than literal masterpieces, unfortunately. If you wanna an official answer concerning to the literature , well, Gone with the wind.
Music:Latin music when I dance, Chinese music when I sing, Otherwise, world music and keep discovering new genres (recently very into Sahara desert music and oriental music)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1: Paragliding, bungee jumping on Macau tower(the highest), diving etc
2: The first real Skiing experience in my life, I survived on the red slope, with no company,no teacher, no idea what I was doing :)
3: I managed to travel to some countries when I didnt have the VISA (As Chinese literally I need to apply for the visa in advance for all foreign countries and even some part of the same country as for Hongkong or Macao :)
4: After all ups and downs, I still love the life:) and every day seems even better than yesterday :)

Not sure how much I could "teach" but I d definitely share with you on various interests, activities and topics.
Some cliches here:
I taught Chinese for a couple of yearsI can teach/already taught Yoga, Dance (Salsa, Bachata, Classic, Jazz), Skiing(for beginners:) , Chinese cuisine, Making the origami, Pouting, etc. And dont forget that I still have much potential to discover:)

I learn from people. So no matter you "teach" on purposely or unconsciously, I will always learn from you, no worry!:)

Life and all passed experiences taught me too much, as well as the great persons I ve met (Including in the CSing world) All good and bad, I would like to share with you.
So yes, Share with me your stories, information, know-hows, ideas, and above all the happiness when we are together~!!

With my hosts?
I bet that I share the best part of myself with the hosts:) I m generally very proactive, positive energy, good humor and creative when I m the guest, I m willing to exchange and to do things with the hosts while quite flexible on any changes. I love to talk about the travelling experiences, tons of fun hosting and surfing stories; share food, drinks, music, dance, or simply discuss on various topics~

Towards other fellow hosts,
I can simply say that: Be patient:)
Do expect less-than-great hosting experience because this is the real life~ Imperfection actually highlight the beautiful humanity in this community~
