Overview
About Me
I'm a graduate from University Malaya and my major was German Language as foreign language and also education. I've lived in Germany as an exchange student for a year and have been interested in learning cultures or languages ever since. Traveling and sports have been part of my life ever since young.
Life isn't always about materials but experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to get to know more people. After living a year with the Germans, I've realised that you get to know people better when you immerse yourself into their daily lifestyle. By communicating is another way but to feel it yourself is a whole another mind blowing experience.
Interests
I've been active in sports as well. Squash mainly is what I play when I have the time. I swim too once awhile. And I love the beaches and sea, so whenever I travel, it's mostly to the islands or beaches.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really have any specific preferences when it comes to music. But movies I prefer when it's something different like Forrest Gump, Interstellar, Life of Pi and mostly based on true stories, such as 50 years a slave or Schindler's list.
I used to spend a lot of time reading when I was studying but nowadays just when I travel, I will try to bring a book along. I read a lot of fictions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've always been admiring squash queen Nicol David since young. Because of her dedication and hard work in maintaining her 9 years as world number 1 player. And I actually had the chance to meet her in person and played with her for a few minutes in the court. It's not much but it meant a lot to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to speak a lot of languages, even some Chinese dialects. I'm a teacher myself so teaching is what I've been doing so far. As a teacher, I don't get to just teach but also learn from my students. I would like to learn more languages such as Spanish or Thai. The more the better ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share the different languages that I know with the hosts and also the experiences of different cultures that I've learned so far. And also about my country as it is not as famous as Thailand or Singapore. Sharing cultures.

Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates
