About Me

Hello. My name is Wongsakorn Juchia, but you can call me Friend which is my nickname in Thailand. (If you have known someone from Thailand, you automatically know that we have the nickname.) I'm from Thailand and graduated in Quantitative Economics. After I have failed down with my business, I began my job which is a software developer.

I like to discover the culture, food, attraction places, languages, and interesting activities. Moreover, friendship is the one thing that I give precedence to (that's why I am named Friend). So, I really appreciate to meet and make friend with new people because I love not only to share my stories but also to listen to other people's stories. As a result, it helps me to open mind and get to know more things about the people in the world where I am living nowadays.

About my hometown, I was born in Saraburi and have been there for 11 years. Thus, I really know about my town. Saraburi is a province and located in the central of Thailand (108 kilometres north of Bangkok). It isn't big like Bangkok, nevertheless, fine, simple, and surrounding by the countrysides. If you would like to know more about my hometown, you can search for more information by search engines or be following on this website:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One day, I watched my favorite TV program on YouTube. It was talking about Denmark and he (who is the moderator) showed the Couchsurfing website on his show that he used it to find the local people for interview. The guy who hosted him said that he uses it to host visitors. He has a visitor note for them to leave their messages. He lets them to stay in his house for free and makes friends. He likes strangers and ready to learn people's personality. He believes that people will be equal if they understand to inside each other.

I would like to be like both of them. It might be the easy way to meet new people and enjoy travelling with them together. That's why I'm interested in this website and try to meet new people. It might sound great, I hope that.

Interests

Normally, I always take a time for reading books and surfing the internet, learning languages, and watching on YouTube.

However, when I have the vacations, I usually find some journeys somewhere. Maybe, I am going to be abroad.

My favourite kinds of places that I like the most is natural attractions especially the national parks.

In addition, I prefer travelling by trains more than planes because I like to see the outside by the windows what is going on more than only sitting on my seat that's so boring.

Finally, I like to have the conversations with people talking about politics, culture, religions, languages, food, travelling, etc. However, I can enjoy the funny stories or dirty jokes. I am not serious about that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm almost the J-Pop, K-Pop, C-Pop, Indo-Pop and T-Pop fans. However, I also prefer to listen to the music which you would like to show up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first backpacking trip is Mae Hong Son, Thailand (nearby Chiangmai, North of Thailand). There are a lot of mountains, hot springs local temples, native minority villages (Karens), and nice people around there. If you would like to know more about this city, you can search more information by search engines or following on this website:

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach my mother-tongue language (Thai) and how to do like Thai people (Thai way culture). In addition, I may teach you guys to do Thai food if we have enough ingredients.
(My kitchen is unavailable at this time because my electric stove is broken. I'll get the new one soon.)

On the other hand, I would like to learn languages and cultures too especially how to cook traditional food.

I am interested in arts, religions, politics, economics, culture, and social issues. We can discuss each other if you are comfortable to talk with (I usually talk to other people with positive thinking).
