About Me

CURRENT MISSION

waiting for the sun

ABOUT ME

I love going to gigs, concerts et al, a few beers and the beach. I also play a fair bit of sport. have been planning on learning to surf for a few years, but have too many excuses. very easy going, no prejudices.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and learn

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently have a spare room at my house, am willing for couch surfers from far and wide to come enjoy my hospitality. Am willing to show you my city and its expanses, maybe have some fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have friends who recommended it, have had a german and a spaniard travelling together stay for a week. big love to all surfers

Interests

I like listening to music, own a small vinyl collection which is slowly expanding, enjoy watching films, play a bit of sport during winter. I am on a constant search to find a good place to have a meal, be it breakfast lunch or dinner and a chat.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - This is England, Pan's Labyrinth, Pulp Fiction, Braveheart, Lock Stock, Heat, The Proposition, Wedding Crashers.
Music - Love a good dirty guitar riff, but special mentions got to the Strokes, Interpol, Kings of LEon, Black Rebel, The Flaming Lips, The Stone Roses, The National, Hot Hot Heat, QOTSA
Books-currently reading sherlock holmes. fever pitch- Nick Hornby. very enjoyable thus far. Loved Wonderland Avenue-Tales of Glamour and excess by Danny Sugerman. Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts, first book i ever read was the power of one by Bryce Courtenay-still up there with the favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

love a good sunset

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make a good (not great) cup of green tea, or any other tea for that matter. Otherwise most of my other talents are useless, or aren't talents at all.

would like to learn how to play guitar (though am rather ungifted in that regard), and roll a good cigarette.
