About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My goal is to be able to say hi, how are you, good thanks and you, please, goodbye and count to 10 in as many languages as possible
ABOUT ME
I'm currently living in Düsseldorf while I write my Master's thesis. I am officially studying at the FS University in Jena. I studied Finance and Economics at the ANU in Canberra, Australia as well as completing a yearlong exchange at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario (Canada). Over the last year I worked as an English language assistant in Metz, France and studied languages for a semester at the University of Passau.
I'm a social, outgoing person who loves meeting new people, in particular non-native English speakers who are willing to teach me some of their language (no matter how few people actually speak it) in exchange for my English. I could write forever, but if you think you would like to know more, skype me and I can tell you anything you want to know!
PHILOSOPHY
Try anything as long as it doesn't affect anyone else in a negative way. Be open to new ideas and experiences - you never know what you will learn or how your life will change as a consequence.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list, but I don't think this tells you anything about the kind of person I am.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing experiences of my life was during May 2010. During my exchange, I became a member of the Queen's Rotaract group. Every year, they organised an international community project and during my year, we went to El Salvador to build houses for underprivileged families and donated clothes and other useful things to schools and orphanages. We spent the whole year fundraising, we bought building supplies with the money we fundraised and we built the houses with these supplies. It was amazing because it provided us with hope. Its easy to think "I know there are a lot of problems in the world, but what can I do?". Doing something like this showed me how easy it is to make a difference in the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm particularly interested in language exchanges with any native French, Spanish and German speakers who are looking to improve their English.
