ABOUT ME

I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Although I have only studied there for three years and am technically now a senior, my degree is mostly finished and I only have a couple of required courses left, so this coming year I'm focusing on things other than academics (like travel!).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to couch surfing. I am studying for two months this summer in Moscow and afterwards traveling across Europe. When I heard about couch surfing, I thought it would not only be a great way to find places to stay but also, perhaps more importantly, meet new and interesting people in the places I go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I don't have any experience couch surfing, I do love to travel and have some experience with that. I have been all around the United States, up and down the east coast, out west to California and even to Hawaii once. When I was 13, I went on a trip to Italy and when I was 18 visited England and France.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love to watch movies, listen to music and read! As for movies and books, I love science fiction (as you might have guessed if you saw my mission was from Star Trek). I also like other genres like westerns or action or superhero movies (I don't read comic books, but will occasionally read a graphic novel). I also love history and do read nonfiction history.

I have similarly broad taste in music. My favorite is probably classic rock, but depending on my mood, I'll listen to modern rock, rap or electronica. Overall, I like to keep an open mind.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

When I was 13, I went to Italy and climbed Mt. Vesuvius. At the time, I was terrified of heights and at the top of the volcano (where you can walk around the rim of the crater), the path gets very narrow with no handrails and the wind is quite strong, so it was harrowing. Nevertheless, the view of the landscape below was fantastic and the experience amazing.
