ABOUT ME

I've lived in Asia since I graduated from University. So that's, 9 years now. Am really used to environments where I'm never quite sure what is going on.

I like to try whacky foods, and watch people. I'm a night owl, so don't wake me before 11am unless it's REALLY important.

I have friends all over the globe, but I'm terrible at keeping touch. Usually within a week of being in a major city I'll have met enough people to start randomly running into them again.

I love eating, and I especially love eating outdoors. I prefer humid climates so I don't need to bring a jacket with me at night.

Love beaches, and cities. Not a big fan of mountains, and I don't like roughing it. I'm so over camping thanks to boy scouts.

I've never had a proper job with regular pay...

PHILOSOPHY

I figure that while I'm here I might as well have a good time. And since I'm having a good time, I might as well make sure it lasts as long as possible by not doing anything too stupid to ruin it.

Oh, and since there are other people around, it's probably good if they're having a good time too--and not doing anything stupid. So, I try to help with that too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still figuring out how all this fits together so I'm not sure. Though I'm definitely willing to give people advice about where to go and what to do if they come to Osaka, Tokyo, Seoul, or Hong Kong and may be able to hook people up with friends in those cities.

Any activity that looks fun, though I'm more inclined to Sky Diving than bungee jumping.
