About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get the most out of what life actually has to offer, not just settle for anything!

ABOUT ME

I'm a 30 year old Aussie that loves all sides to travel. My wife and I are travelling the world for a year and plan to go to the Americas, Africa and finishing with Israel/Jordan. This is our last big unplanned trip of freedom haha. We plan to start a family soon after we return home so we thought lets experience all that we can!

You'll find that we am generally care free and am usually the one in the group who is shameless, dance floor included. We are proud of our wacky perception of life and are happy the way we are. We are very much outdoors people.

PHILOSOPHY

Life shouldnt be only about material wealth and accomplishments on paper. Quality of life has more to do with how often you make others laugh/smile and how often you laugh/smile yourself

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Venturing down the road less taken to completely open my eyes to what is out there. I love the idea of hanging with locals and getting the real culture and not just the 'tourist version' of a country

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started my couchsurfing experience when my trip to Europe started. If used correctly it can be the best thing in the world as long as both people are getting the cultural exchange then all is good!

Interests

I play basketball and love the being on and in the water whether its surfing, boating or other water sports such as spearfishing/Scuba diving. I love being outdoors and camping. I'll pretty much give anything a go if the opportunity presents itself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was bitten just below the knee by a flesh eating spider but didn't realise that I had been bitten by anything dangerous. I went without any care for a week then when I fell on the wound the problems started. I must of had some resistance to it and luckily I have no permanent scaring at all but it was a pretty scary/ interesting time for the next 3 weeks .

Teach, Learn, Share

I am keen to show anyone who is willing to learn how things are done in Australia and am equally keen to learn others culture. If you want to see Australia's outdoor beauty and how we enjoy it I am your guy. If you just want to party, we will also get along just fine!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My wife loves to cook and share/learn different techniques and cultural styles!

Stories of our travels and general long conversations!

All you want about Australia and all those 'deadly' animals (its not a deathtrap like people think haha)

Countries I’ve Visited
