My name is Wooyoung Kim from South Korea. And you can just call me Kim or Gim.

About myself,
I am really responsible, easygoing and energetic person. I know how to respect people.

You may not trust me since I don't have any reference. But I hope you can be my first reference writer.

I am traveling around the world to see beautiful places and meet awesome people. I have traveled outside of Korea since last August (2015) and now I am studying sociology in San Francisco, the United States.

I am interested in photography and I love taking a photo of beautiful places around the world. You can check my photos on Instagram @ K_DNDUD.

Before coming to the United States, I was serving in the Army for two years (it is mandatory service in South Korea) And I was dispatched to U.S. army in South Korea. There, I met a lot of good American people and that experience has influenced my life a lot.

I have learned three things from my friends and service: Responsibility, Trust, and Friendship.
Moreover, that experience stimulated me to look abroad outside of my little country and meet more friends.

I am curious about the city you live and I want to keep nice memory of your city until sleeping in the grave.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet real native people not a staff at the hotel or hostel. I can stay in hotel or hostel even in Korea.

That's not what I want while traveling other countries.

Interests

I am interested in photography and of course traveling. Also I love playing video games such as Call of duty series. (Advanced Warfare is my favorite)

Moreover, I love backpacking in the middle of wild and rock climbing, skiing, and kayaking!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled South America Peru to Brazil for a month by riding a bus. That was a really amazing memory in my life. Good people and beautiful nature!
And when I was in Chile, I climbed Lascar Volcan (5600m).
