ABOUT ME

I grew up on an island where as kids we had what you might say as a pretty care free childhood. Bonfires, driving small boats to sand spits for camping, skateboarding in empty cow bales, driving cars/motor bikes around was all quite normal.
Then I grew up and went to uni in the city and realised it was anything but normal when I started to bring these things up and many more to people in conversation!
I am now a primary school teacher and spend my days in Sydney skating, teaching, partying and dj'ing!

PHILOSOPHY

God this sounds like the question I got asked in uni......'What is your personal teaching philosophy'? I guess I live life to enjoy it. Never will you see me in a job where I work 6-7 days a week and have no time to relax and socialise for ANY amount of money.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

All kinds of participation! Ranging from meeting up with random people for drinks and fun right through to long term surfing! Basically if you want to hang out for the arvo or hang out for a week we can hook something up! Provided your not some whacko!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting in Australia and now surfing all over the US and Canada and onto South America! Definitely all positive except for one crazy girl in San Fran, but we wont talk about her and I definitely wont be staying with anyone else who doesn't have references that's for sure.

Interests

Anything that can be enjoyed with other fun humans. Heck, I tried croquet at the club the other day for the first time. Possibly only enjoyed it as much as I thought I did because of the amount of beers we all had but hey, if you cant enjoy a beer and try something random I don't want to know you!

Music, Movies, and Books

Whoa so many things. South park, the big lebowski, snatch, howls moving castle, blow, dan brown. Its quite random what I like. Fleetwood Mac, Bob dylan, DJ Shadow, human league. Ill add more later there is too much.About time I added some more so, The XX, Bonobo, Metronomy, Simian Mobile Disco, The Rapture, Erol Alkan, Soulwax, Fleet Foxes. More another time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One when I was a kid I balanced on one foot and picked up a small 390ml bottle of coke off the ground with my mouth in front of my class as a challenge laid out by a traveling science team - no one else could from other schools in the area (or so they told me). Was always proud of that when I was a kid! Plus I got to keep the coke; much to the jealousy of all my class mates who we normally aren't allowed to drink coke!

Also saw a guy vomit and piss into a toilet without hitting the rim at all...thought that was pretty impressive given the state he was in.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ill teach you some cool bar tricks if you host me! That being said you might be the victim of a lost bet ha! But for the lost bet you have bought some cool tricks that you can scam other victims for ;)

I also like cooking so ill cook you something nice in return for something you teach/cook/show me in return.

One thing that people always seem to like for whatever reason is the sign language symbol for an animal.....ill show you if I meet you!
