ABOUT ME

i was born in malatya in central turkey. malatya was most famous for its apricots until i came along ! after my education i taught mathematics and then joined the tourism ministry where i worked for 15 years. i travelled to many parts of turkey and visited many other countries. now i live on burgazada (burgaz island) in sea of marmara, about one hour by ferry from center of istanbul. this is the most peaceful place, very beautiful, with no cars except for police chief and governor, so everyone walks, rides a bike or travels by fayton (horse-drawn carriage).
